Meet the Team

MEC combines senior building-services engineering experience with business operations, BIM delivery and specialist energy and sustainability support.

Stuart is a Chartered Building Services Engineer with more than 20 years of project and on-site leadership experience across residential, commercial, healthcare and mission-critical projects. Before establishing and leading MEC Engineers, his career included senior roles with major international consultancies, including AECOM and WSP. He has led multidisciplinary building-services delivery on major UK regeneration and residential developments, including Station Hill Reading, Harrow, Kidbrooke Park, Kings Road and Westferry Printworks, as well as complex high-end residential, healthcare and data-centre engineering projects. Stuart remains directly involved in project strategy, technical reviews and delivery, giving clients senior-level engineering input throughout the commission.

Sophie leads business operations at MEC Engineers, supporting the day-to-day management of the consultancy, client coordination, communications, project administration and business development. Her background includes media, communications and event/project coordination, bringing a strong organisational and client-facing focus to the business. Sophie helps ensure projects, proposals and client communications are managed efficiently and consistently as MEC continues to grow.

Mohammed supports MEC with BIM and digital engineering delivery for mechanical and electrical building-services projects. His role focuses on producing coordinated Revit models and technical information that brings mechanical, electrical and architectural design together into a clear, buildable digital model. He supports model coordination, drawing production, services routing and clash-aware design development across MEC projects.

Luke supports MEC on energy, sustainability and low-carbon strategy. He currently works with Barchester Healthcare and brings experience of large commercial contracts, project delivery and energy-related initiatives in the healthcare estate environment. His wider project-management background includes APM Project Management Qualification and PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner credentials. Within MEC project teams, Luke provides specialist input around energy strategy, sustainability, EV infrastructure and the practical implementation of low-carbon measures.
